pretty much I want to show you what a begginer, average and experienced dollers are.
I made a checklist so you can decided who you are.
BE HONEST!!!
Beginner:
- Has a website for 0-2 years
- Uses none or almoste non HTML
- Dolles in a style he/she has seen in a tutorial
- Makes mostly casual dolls
- Makes no details ( or very few )
- Has no backgrounds or very few )
- Don't know what the dolling rules are
- Has no clue what copyright is
- Takes pallets from other sites
- Doesn't know what linking back is or just thinks it's to much work
Average:
- Has been dolling for 3+ years
- Has a variety of dolls from casual to fantasy and others
- Does his/her best on details
- Knowes how lighting should fall on clothes and uses it in a good way
- Knowes how to make good folds and know how they are formed.
- Knowes how to make a good patters
- Knowes that clothes do have seems!
- Does nice backgrounds
- Has a site in HTML or at least a whole pixeled layout
- Knowes what frankendolling is.
- Knowes the primary dolling rules
- Uses own pallets
- Linkes back as you should do
(and so on)
Experienced:
- You have been pixeling over 5 years
- Is getting better and better
- Makes chalenges for his/her self
- Does big dolls and big backgrounds with lots of details
- Does a lot with details.
- Doesn't need pallets and creates them while working on the doll
- Has a great pixeled site and lost of visitors and with HTML, java, css and etc
- Has fans of his/her dolls and pixels
- Does a lot of pixeling not just dolls
- Has a positive attitude against comments AND critics!!
- Is knowen not just in their country but also others.
- Is reconized by dollers all over the world as a good doller
(and so on )
Now you have an idea what all levels are.
BUT
after experienced there is more...
There are lots of dollers that are dolling for 10 years or so.
They are the best of the best.
You don't just get there by dolling for many years.ou have to keep challenging yourself to keep pixeleling and wanting to know more and become better and better.
and you must know how to deal with comments and critics.
I put myself in the experienced box.
BUT I can do much and much better
So keep on improving!
