i was wandering whats the shortest anime ever .
i 've seen alien 9 and that anime had only 4 episodes.
and the sortest i've ever seen if you look at the duration time of the episodes that has to be chi's sweet home (every episodes takes about 3 minuts)

it's CLOVER ova, it's only 1 episode and i think its 15min.

why would you watch it?? if it's that short?
When I first watched PTKITD, I watched the first two episodes, and thought like 'okay, now this is the start of the story'... and the next day I wanted to watch further.. and i was like "HUHH!? but.. but... it.. it just started"... very confusing...

if an anime is only 15 minutes, how can it possibly have a story? there can't be a beginning, middle and end within 15 minutes right? or the makers have to be some kind of magicians, they put a long story in a quarter of an hour..

haha... like... with spells? -I take things to literally-...
But, when the anime is so short, is is usually because it is an OVA (Original Video Animation), so it is just a side story for the manga, that will usually be loonger that the anime/OVA...

But I always watch OVA's to find ouy if teh manga will be nice... or just because the manga isn't there T.T

Clover is really short, but it's more to promote the manga (it's from CLAMP so i think it's really good)
